Whats On My Nails | Spring & Summer Nail Colors | March Edition

Hey Gems!!! So I recently got my nails done and of course I kept with the trend of stiletto nails! I have been loving them long and to top it off I love mine extra pointy and sharp lol. Along with getting my nails done I wanted to share whats on them as well as some of my favorite inexpensive nail polishes that will be great for spring and summer!

My nails were something that came to me off the top of my head and a little inspiration from one of my pins from pintrest! So lets start with the purple color it is called "Dream On" from sinful colors and seems to be a fairly new color that has just dropped for spring and summer. When I first saw this color it just called to me and it makes the perfect color for the pantone color of the year which is Radiant Orchid. Now my nail tech did apply 2 coats of this color to get it to this full on purple shade and it didn't streak was very opaque in color and absolutely gorgeous as you can see! The Design finger which is a heart with leopard print the colors used to achieve this design were nail colors from the salon as well as the sliver glitter!

On to my favorite part of this blog my new favorite polishes for spring and summer! Some of these colors are new and some of these I have had for awhile but non the less love them anyway. All these colors are affordable and can be found at your local drugstores and only one of them I picked up at Sally's Beauty! I am going to list this colors below in order from left to right.

Influenster J'Adore Vox Box

Hey Gems!!!

I am back with a new post and what better way to kick off a new start and come back than with a box full of goodies! So I received this awesome box from Influenster about a week ago and let me just say I truly love it and it had some great products inside for me to try and test out!!! So when I first received my box it as you can see below it had a array Of goodies inside which included a 1LB bag of Hershey Kisses, John Frieda Frizz Ease 3day Straight Flat Iron Spray (thats a mouthful lol) Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask, Red Rose Simply Indulgent Tea and last last but not least I received a pair of Kiss Looks so Natural Lashes.

So the first thing I was highly excited to try was the Boots Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask. Now this mask retails for $9.39 and you can most likely find this product at your local drugstore and Target. When I first applied this mask I wasn't sure if I was going to love it but after the first use I quickly fell in love with it! It is awesome for a good deep clean of your skin it applies easy and evenly and dries fast the best results is to leave it on for about 10 mins and it works well with a great night time routine and you can add this maybe 2-3 times a week for a good deep cleaning of your skin it removes all impurities and removes excess oils from your skin which is great if you are #TEAMOILY like me! It also does not dry out your skin but I do still suggest to use a good moisturizer after just to be on the safe side!

So these yummy chocolates we are all familiar with they are the infamous Hershey Kisses! They retail for about $5.39 for the family size bag which is a 1LB bag. Now I'm not a big chocolate eater but these candies are yummy and also great to add into a goodie bag or give as a gift for Valentine's Day or even better on a birthday!

So today I had some of this amazing tea and I really like it! I usually don't step outside the box when it comes to drinking tea. So this was a nice change from my normal. Red Rose Simply Indulgent Tea retails for about $4.49 for a carton of 20 tea bags. I received 3 Creme Caramel and 1 Lemon Chiffon (which I haven't tried yet). The Creme Caramel tasted amazing and I added a little sugar and milk and it truly made the perfect blend! This tea is a premium black blend and even better it is 0 calories!!! So sit back and enjoy a cup!

Ok gems lest talk about these new lashes from kiss! This are called "Looks So Natural" and they retail for about $3.99 and can be found at your local Walmart,Walgreens, & CVS. I really like these lashes but to be honest I'm a huge fan of the kiss lashes already and I love using them on myself and clients. These lashes are very natural but have just a little flair great for the everyday working woman who doesn't want to be over the top and perfect for those who are just starting out and don't want to be too dramatic. They gone on easily band are very lightweight it feels if they actually you lashes I give these 2 thumbs up so bat the lashes gems!!!

Last but not least in my J'Adore Voxbox I received the John Frizz Ease 3-Day Straight Flat Iron Spray. This retails for $9.99 for a 3.5 fl oz. Now this product I tested but to me it seemed to be a regular heat protect spray it does have a wonderful smell but as far the directions it says to use it on wet hair and not dry hair. I am a weave & wig girl so I didnt find much use out of this unless you have just freshly washed your unit and want to straighten the hair. But a plus to this product it does have keratin and keratin is great for your hair especially if you are striving for healthy hair! All in all gems I feel its an ok product but just maybe its because I don't have a ton of use for it.

So here is another beauty find! I am excited to share with you now this one the cons and pros are hand in hand so with that being said I wanted to share my opinion with you guys on this before I decide if I am gonna be returning these are sticking with them.

The 2 colors I bought are :

Cherish Devotion-light pink color
Lovesick-dark pink color

So here is a list of pros and cons along with some pics

❤❤Pros:

Last about 4hrs with eating and drinking
Come in many shades from nudes to reds
Nice shine/ when first applied
Smells Sweet And Minty
Can be found at walgreens for $8.99

❤❤Cons:

Can be drying after the balm has worn off (for me about an hour)
Not comparable to cliniques Chubby Stick
Takes A Few Swipes To Get Full Color Pay Off
More of a stain than balm due to the balm does not last long

❤❤Tips
After 4hrs must reapply or add a gloss to keep lips from becoming to dry.

Try adding a lip balm before apply to keep moisture locked in long.

SINFUL COLORS NAIL POLISH

Hey Gems!!! So this post is all about nail polish recently I came across a video on yt about sinful colors being on sale at Walgreens for .99 I decided this would be the perfect time to pick up a couple and see how i like them! I absolutely love these polishes I picked up 2 glitter polishes since I have been in to glitter lately check them out divas.

Frenzy and All About You

So ladies I went to the nail salon  yesterday and got a fill I was feel very fall but wanted to add a pop of  color I felt that " All About You" was a great pop of color and by it being gold it gave a nice touch to fall. This is the what I picked out at the salon.

At the salon I chose to go with a dark vampy purple this color was from China glaze called "Lets Groove"

and on my right finger is "All About You" I think this combination came out gorgeous  and  I love it.

These sinful colors can be a little opaque and you will diffiently need to put on 2-3 coats to get your desired look but they are will worth and for $1.99 regularly and .99 when on sale you can't go wrong. I say give them a try ladies and you won't be disappointed!!!

Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-In Conditioner

So I recently started rock braids as a protective style due to my hair shedding alot and being very dry. I realized that I needed to start a regular hair care routine as well as give my hair break and give the lace fronts a break. So I am currently rocking Mircos ( wet N wavy). I realized by my hair being so dry I was going to need a good daily or every other day spray as well I have a very dry scalp so I was going to need a good cream hair dress. So I happened upon Carol's Daughter leave in conditioner now what I love about this product is the fact that is Paraben Free No Petroleum, Mineral Oil or Artificial Color. Which when you are natural those are all things you kinda want to stay away from as well as look for natural products because they tend to be better for your hair and scalp.

This product is light enough for daily use and can be used to detangle your hair if need be works wonders with hydration especially if you very coarse dry hair like I do. Yes you can use this on wet or dry hair. I use this  every other day or sometimes twice a week cause  because it leave my hair and scalp feeling refreshed and hydrated as well as  my hair smells so good. This conditioner has extracts of Lavender,Honeysuckle, and Sage as well fragranced with Vanilla.

I love this product and will buy it again. Carols Daughters has many great products for natural so be sure to stay tuned for my next review on Carol's Daughter.
